Day Three at New York’s Largest Blockchain Conference

0 55

On the last day of Consensus, Wachsman staff were out in full force to close out New York’s largest blockchain conference. Over the past three days, we’ve been both honored and humbled to be part of such a monumental event in the blockchain community. We’re already looking forward to next year.

With that being said, here’s a look at day three of our Consensus Catch-up — a substantive overview of the people we met and the conversations we had. Through these recaps, we hope that you’ve felt right in the middle of the action. Here’s your daily rundown:

Thought Leadership

Founder and CEO David Wachsman was present during all three days of Consensus, meeting with clients, interviewing with the press, and talking with attendees about the future of the industry. Here, David can be seen speaking with CNBC about the future of the blockchain events circuit. The general consensus, according to David, is that we’re beginning to see more quality content emerge from blockchain events worldwide. If this year’s Consensus conference is any indication, we’d venture to say that his predictions are well on their way to actualization.

Panel Discussions

In the Mercury Ballroom, Wachsman staff attended the lively panel discussion, entitled “Tools of the Trade: Building New Exchange Infrastructure.” This past year has been incredibly formative with regard to the different tools and practices we employ in the blockchain industry. And with another exciting year ahead, the opportunity to hear some of the brightest minds in the space was certainly invaluable. Panelists included Steve Ehrlich, CEO and Co-founder of Voyager; Marc Hochstein, Managing Editor of Coindesk; Yoni Assa, CEO and Co-founder of eToro; and Kristin Boggiano, Chief Legal Officer of Alphapoint.

Wachsman staff were also present for a one-on-one interview of U.S. presidential candidate Andrew Yang. Moderated by Neeraj Agrawal, Director of Communications at Coin Center, the panel covered everything from Yang’s meteoric rise to prominence to his stance on blockchain and cryptocurrency adoption. It was a must-see event at Consensus 2019.

Until Next Year

We at Wachsman would like to extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who took the time out of their busy schedule to meet us and learn more about our service offerings. Every year, we feel extraordinarily fortunate to be able to participate in one of the premier blockchain and emerging technology conferences in the world. See you next May!
