Upside, a crypto services provider including cryptocurrency exchange Upxide and subsidiary of Tokyo listed company Metaps Plus, announced today it has acquired marketing rights for Telegram Messenger’s GRAM token sale in partnership with Liquid, the cryptocurrency exchange run by QUOINE Pte. Ltd.
The token sale is live now and will be held from July 12th to July 25th, available only to Upxide exchange customers in South Korea.
“We are honored to be able to support Liquid in the GRAM token sale, specifically for the South Korean market. We hope our customers at UPXIDE enjoy this great opportunity. We believe the emergence of GRAM will positively change the current landscape of the cryptocurrency market as we know it.”

Telegram is a cloud-based mobile and desktop messaging app with 260 million users globally. Telegram raised USD 1.7 billion in 2018 through a token sale that was limited to accredited investors to build TON (Telegram Open Network) with native GRAM utility token.
Metaps Plus was the first South Korean company to acquire a blockchain-related patent in Japan back in September 2018 and also just filed a patent for KYC blockchain technology in May 2019. Metaps Plus is committed to expanding the versatility of blockchain technologies in Korea and Japan.
“We are excited to partner with Upside, one of our trusted business partners to offer the GRAM token sale in the South Korean cryptocurrency market. We hope this will enable greater access for the GRAM token sale for accredited Korean participants.”
