Airdrop ERC20 Token using 94ETH smart contract – Jerry kan
Say you have a token and would like to distribute them by yourself (If you want your customers buy it, please refer to this), you should add the token in metamask and send them one by one, which is really annoying and error-prone.
With the Metamask airdrop tool in 94ETH, things will get much easier.
(you must have metamask wallet to do this, or you can use 94eth smart agent, which will be introduced in next story)
You may airdrop to all the addresses with the same amount, or you can specify number per address.
if amount is the same, please fill in amount input, or you need to specify the amount in the address file in each line.
batch size: the amount of addresses in one transaction, since Ethereum has a gas limit for each block, batch size too large will fail the transaction. Modify it only when you know what you are doing.
Upload your addresses file: collect all the addresses, and put them line by line in a file (csv or txt), amount must be after address if amount is not same for each address:
- filter token holders and filter contract usually take a lot of time and may cause failure due to Metamask network.
if filter changed, you need to upload the address file again.
the recognized addresses, service fee and invalid addresses will reveal in the right
You need to approve tokens to the airdrop contract, click ‘Approve’, fill in the amount to approve. click confirm and submit the transaction in Metamask wallet.
wait until the approvement transaction confirmed and click ‘refresh’, once Metamask wallet find your approvement, click ‘next’, and all the airdrop transactions is prepared and listed.
click the ‘airdrop’ button one by one, and submit the transactions in Metamask.
Cautions: don’t left too many unconfirmed transactions in Metamask, it may crash and you may lost it if you didn’t save a copy of you account
If you are still tired of keep clicking and waiting for metamask response, 94ETH even have a much more power tool: Smart Agent, we’ll talk about it in latter stories.
