  1. Rich is a relative term. I’d be happy to be comfortable, again a relative term. Does having a million dollars or pounds make you rich? In a world of centi-billionaires, a million dollars no longer seems to be the key to a life a luxury.

  2. I’d probably drop a turd or two just having like $5000 profit in my wallets. Becoming rich isn’t even something I’m considering because I don’t mess around gambling on shit coins. If I could get a little cash to help with a home someday a few years from now I’d be so damn happy, but I’m definitely not EXPECTING it.. more like fingers crossed wishing for it. 🤷🏻‍♂️😂

  3. “Among those who have invested in a crypto, 39% have invested $1,000 or less and only 12% have invested $10,000 or more. But 34% invested $1,000 to $4,999 and 16% have invested $5,000 to $9,999”

    Interesting Figures !!

  4. A more accurate headline would be: 620 people out of 1000 believe they’ll get rich from crypto currency. These people are American. Including the other 380 people.

  5. I met a lot of people who invested 50-100 bucks thinking they will get rich. People who don’t know much about crypto think every crypto they invest in will be the next Bitcoin.

My plan was investing around 20-30k, and hoping I could 5x that and have enough for an apartment downpayment, in 3-5 years.

  6. I believe it gives me a chance to get enough money to buy something that I can use as an investment. This could be the first step towards getting rich but there is a long way untill I could ever say the word rich.

  7. Rich? Yeah I’m rich. I just bought yogurt at Costco without even looking at the price. Boom. Thanks ETH.

Edit: it was $7.99. 90 calories a cup. I like to mix in some cranberries, eat two of them a day. It’s cheaper than meat or bread, but not quite as cheap as Ramen.

  8. All this means to me is that we are early. Like I don’t buy into fiat and sit on it thinking I’ll get rich. I buy it to use it. Buy it because it’s an every day thing. We are still in the phase when most people are buying to wait for the adoption. 38% adoption basically.

  9. Define “rich”. Many people think middle class earnings is “rich”.

Also being rich in some third world country could be the same as being poor in some super expensive city like Tokyo.
