A passive crypto market device this sub might appreciate

I was able to accomplish this by following: [https://github.com/llvllch/btcticker](https://github.com/llvllch/btcticker)

[It uses a raspberry pi and a little e-ink display like a kindle.](https://preview.redd.it/299ay2m4frt61.jpg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=79b3bf7630678cd3bdaf9e383e433b9754c1f727)

It cycles among 4 coins I’m watching, gets it’s price info from Coingecko, and uses very little power due to the nature of the screen technology. I’m able to configure the amount of time it shows each coin, change the update frequency, etc.

I’m pretty happy with it so I wanted to share it with you.

Credit goes to llvllch for the project.

  1. Shout out if you are going to make it into a packaged product for sale. If so please have a “blockclock mode”. I.e. display the worth of fiat in sats, e.g. currently 1666 sats if showing USD.
