  1. you are so petty and childish for considering this “anti bitcoin”.

    are you really going to tell me that bitcoin isn’t popularly associated with actual and real internet scams and security vulnerabilities? or that advertisers should feel compelled to hide this obvious truth from people for the sake of your lambo?

    you’re no better than any sleazy advertiser then. i’d say this advertising company is being objective and relatively honest about the realities of the internet. they’re also being a little hyperbolic as a form of humor. but that’s over your head i suppose.

    can’t you just be happy for the popular mention and the implied establishment of bitcoin as feature of everyone’s internet usage or experience?

  2. AV companies have always been dodgy. Back in the day they competed on virus signature counts, so to win the race they’d write their own malware and distribute it. Here’s they’re continuing in that vein with fear based marketing.

    Don’t expect too much from the type of industry a person like McAfee gets involved with.
