Ariana Grande is known for being private about her personal life, so it’s no surprise that her divorce settlement includes some specific provisions to protect her privacy. According to new legal documents obtained by The Blast, Grande and her ex-husband, Dalton Gomez, agreed on several items related to her privacy, including Gomez’s ability to write a tell-all book or interview about their marriage.
The settlement agreement states that both parties agree not to “release, disclosure or publication of any photograph (and related negatives), tape, film or like embodiments in all forms whether now or hereafter created or other record or recording of any aspect of any activity in or about any home, office or other property owned.”

While the settlement doesn’t specifically mention what kind of “tapes” or photos are included in this provision, it’s safe to say that Grande is trying to prevent any embarrassing or private recordings from being leaked to the public.
The settlement agreement also prohibits Gomez from giving any interviews, writing books, or appearing in any other media productions that discuss their marriage. Of course, both parties agreed to these restrictions, but it’s clear that they are mainly for Grande’s benefit.
In addition to the privacy provisions, the settlement agreement also states that Grande will pay Gomez a one-time payment of $1,250,000 in lieu of spousal support. She will also get half of the proceeds from the sale of their former home in Los Angeles, after the $6 million mortgage and line of credit are paid off.
Overall, Ariana Grande’s divorce settlement is very generous to Dalton Gomez, while also protecting her privacy. It’s clear that she is trying to move on from their marriage quickly and quietly.
