Because gold can’t be used in stores and so we use dollars.
But Bitcoin can be used in stores and so we will be using the actual thing.
Gold is expansive to store securely. Bitcoin is not.
Gold is very expensive to transport securely. Bitcoin is not.
Bitcoin can be sent via the Internet. Gold cannot.
Meanwhile, gold-coated tungsten…
They’re different. There is no need to have a dick measuring contest with gold. Bitcoin and gold can and do coexist just fine.
Gold has intrinsic value though. Definitely a better store of wealth.
