Blueface’s mom, Karlissa Saffold, is backtracking after throwing some serious shade at rapper Sexyy Red. In a recent IG Live, Saffold compared Red to her “grandma Bessie” and said she was “barely cute” and “stanky.”
The comments sparked a backlash on social media, with many fans accusing Saffold of bullying. Now, Saffold is issuing an apology to Red, saying that her “comedy may have caused her pain” and that she thinks Red is “beautiful and brave.”
This isn’t the first time Saffold has apologized for her comments. Earlier this year, she apologized to Erykah Badu and Yung Miami after calling them “Rent-A-Center B****es.”
Saffold’s latest apology comes after Red left a comment under The Neighborhood Talk’s page, saying, “Didn’t Chrisean knot chu df up.”
It’s unclear if Red has accepted Saffold’s apology, but fans are certainly taking notice of the drama.
