Cher’s friends and family are reportedly worried about her reunion with her former fiancé, music producer Alexander “AE” Edwards.
A source close to the situation told The National Enquirer that Cher has been “blowing up AE’s phone begging for more time together” and that he has agreed, “but only on the condition they pace themselves this time around.”
The source also said that AE’s best friend, rapper Tyga, is “in on it too.”
“The fear is they’re going to ride Cher’s coattails for music connections, use her mansion for wild parties, and take full advantage of her credit cards,” the source said.
Cher and AE broke up in May after a months-long affair and engagement, but the source said that Cher is now “back in ‘giddy mode'” and that her loved ones are worried that she is headed for a hard fall.
“For her kids, Chaz and Elijah Blue, and some of her friends, this is a train wreck that can only end in total disaster,” the source said. “They’re gently trying to sway Cher to give AE up, but she won’t hear of it. She’s walking on air and won’t listen to anyone.”
Sources have also told RadarOnline.com that Cher has been “wearing out” AE with her sexual appetite.
“AE is frustrated and doesn’t know what to do,” a source told RadarOnline.com. “Every time he wants to get something done in the studio, she’s craving — and demanding — more.”
“It’s gotten to be a lot for him and, frankly, a burden for the relationship,” the insider added.
On top of the family drama over AE, Cher has also been trying to help her son, Elijah, who has been struggling with addiction issues.
It is unclear how Cher’s relationship with AE will develop, but her friends and family are clearly concerned for her.
