Announcing a new deal
Fortrade announced the new sponsorship deal with Rangers today, revealing that it will become the ‘official online trading partner’ for the Glasgow-based club for the next 18 months. The deal was brokered by Van Hawke Sports, a sports sponsorship agency.
Commercial and marketing director of Rangers, James Bisgrove, commented on the deal and said,
“We’re excited to welcome Fortrade as the newest member of the Rangers Commercial Partner family and are delighted to have them on board for the remainder of the 2020/21 season, as well as our historic 150th Anniversary season in 2021/22.”
What will the new sponsorship do?
The sponsorship will see the Fortrade logo on the Rangers’ home ground of Ibrox Stadium. The LED boards at the stadium will carry the logo starting this weekend when the Rangers meet Celtic for an Old Firm match. The broker will also be provided publicity via other displays at the stadium and the digital platforms of the team.
Bisgrove said that their support spans the globe and will provide global exposure to the forex firm. It will benefit from a wide variety of activations at the enhanced digital platforms as well as the Ibrox Stadium.
Fortrade was established in 2013. It offers forex, stock, commodities, indices, and CFD trading services to the users. It is available to both retail and institutional clients. Chris Warburton, the CEO of Fortrade said that the firm is honored to be partnering with the football club with a 148-year history. He said that the Rangers FC is a natural fit for their sponsorship deal as their largest customer base is located in Europe. He highlighted the success of the club and its status as a prominent franchise in one of the most well-known football leagues of the world.
