  1. tldr; Barry Silbert-backed Grayscale has bought another $1 billion worth of Bitcoin and other blockchain-based currencies. As of Friday, the company stores a total of $46.1 billion, up from the $45 billion it held a day earlier, according to its Twitter handle. Earlier this week, it was reported that the company had purchased massive amounts of the currencies it had added to its holding recently.

  2. I’m not sure if Grayscale is all that good for Bitcoin. If you ask me they’re just going to play exchange for their clients. They can move bitcoin between clients without actually moving it from wallet to wallet. They’ll just take in the ‘fee’ and tell their clients they ‘own’ x amount of bitcoin. Kind of like Robinhood app for the super rich.
