Has anyone worked on compiling bitcoin?

I am attempting to compile bitcoin and used this exact commands in ubuntu.

>$git clone https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin.git
$cd bitcoin/
$sudo apt-get update
$sudo apt-get upgrade
$sudo apt-get install build-essential libtool autotools-dev automake pkg-config bsdmainutils python3
$sudo apt-get install libevent-dev libboost-dev libboost-system-dev libboost-filesystem-dev libboost-test-dev
$sudo apt install libsqlite3-dev
$sudo apt install libminiupnpc-dev libnatpmp-dev
$sudo apt-get install libzmq3-dev
$sudo apt-get install libqt5gui5 libqt5core5a libqt5dbus5 qttools5-dev qttools5-dev-tools
$sudo apt-get install libqrencode-dev
$./autogen.sh
$./configure
$make
$sudo make install

For some reason “make” cannot find the makefile. Anyone else run into this issue?

A BCH Maxi posted this on r/BTC. Has BTC been compromised by MasterCard etc? What is your opinion on this? Scrolling through r/BTC feels like a brainwash…
