How to donate via crypto

Like many, I’ve been appalled by the imprisonment of Alexei Navalny, leader of Russia’s opposition party. I can’t do much, but I’d like to donate to him and his cause. Information on how to donate to him is almost impossible to find, which I imagine is intentional on part of the Kremlin.

I have, however, found [this article](https://www.coindesk.com/russian-activists-use-crypto-kremlin-doesnt-like-it) which links to his [blockchain wallet](https://www.blockchain.com/btc/address/3QzYvaRFY6bakFBW4YBRrzmwzTnfZcaA6E?page=1). Do I just use this to send him money? Is there anyway to verify it’s his wallet? Is this a bad idea? Thanks.
