Jamie Foxx recently shared a side-splitting story about how he brought in none other than Snoop Dogg to give his daughter’s boyfriend a little “friendly” intimidation. During a promotional interview for his new Netflix film, Back In Action, on Capital XTRA’s Breakfast Show with Robert Bruce and Shayna Marie, Foxx, 57, delighted fans with his parenting antics.

Joined by his co-star Cameron Diaz, Foxx revealed his hands-on parenting style, admitting that he can sometimes be “in your face” when it comes to his daughters. One particular moment stood out when his eldest daughter brought a boyfriend home. “My oldest daughter, who’s married now, but when she was dating another guy, he comes over,” Foxx explained.
“I’d already done the background check on the dude, but Snoop happened to be there at my crib. I was like, ‘Snoop, there he is, right there. Shake him up!'”
What happened next? Classic Snoop. The rap icon sauntered over and coolly said, “Hey, what’s up? What’s happening with it? You know, if she hurt, you hurt, homie.” Foxx, laughing, added that it was all in good fun, but it definitely sent a message.
