Kanye West is reportedly looking to continue his working relationship with rapper Lil Durk, even going so far as to try and buy out Durk’s contract with his current label, 300 Records.
According to sources, West is so impressed with Durk’s work that he wants to bring him on board for his upcoming album. This comes after the two collaborated on the new track “Vultures” with Ty Dolla Sign and Bump J.
Insiders say that West reached out to Todd Moscowitz, the co-founder of 300 Records, to discuss buying out Durk’s contract. However, Moscowitz reportedly denied the request.
Despite this setback, West is not giving up hope. He and Durk recently performed “Vultures” live for the first time at the nightclub Blu Dubai. This appearance comes amid reports of West and Ty Dolla Sign working on a collaborative project in Alula, Saudi Arabia.
