Cheeky Junior Andre has joked his mum is a ‘gold digger’ after Katie Price was gifted Louis Vuitton trainers by her boyfriend Carl Woods.
The pair took Junior on a shopping spree this week, as shops opened following lockdown, which was all documented on Katie’s YouTube channel, of course, with reality star Carl splurging big time on his partner, amid her continued recovery from two broken feet.
Wanting to make sure Katie (who was declared bankrupt last year) didn’t miss out on the kicks, Carl went ‘ninja’ behind her back to pick up a pair of lush, designer shoes she had her eye on.
Speaking to the camera afterward as they reflected on the lovely gesture, Junior said: ‘People think Carl is gold digging on mum, I think it’s the other way around.’
A fan of the idea, Katie said: ‘I’m a gold digger to you. Oh I love that! Finally, for once.’
Junior added: ‘I can’t remember the last time Carl let mum pay for anything,’ as his mother said: ‘I’m so lucky, he does spoil me.’
Having a conversation around money, Pricey, who shares Junior with former husband Peter Andre, insisted he would be ‘minted’ in the future, and wouldn’t have to worry about money.
Even though Junior said he would have to work hard to make his fortune ‘because I don’t have any money right now’ – because, you know, he’s 15 years old – Katie reassured him by saying: ‘Junior you’re going to be so rich when you’re older, I wouldn’t even worry about it.’
She added: ‘Junior you’re going to be minted, so don’t worry about it.’
We need this kind of self-talk in our lives.
In a rather sweet and smooth move for a teen, Junior then told his ‘future wife’, should she be tuning into Katie’s YouTube channel, that he would ‘treat them so well’.
Junior went on: ‘If I earn money, I’m giving it to charities, to help people in need. I’m giving it to my mum, my dad, my family, my friends and my loved one.
‘How I see it, we’re all the same, we should all help each other out and I want to give to people in need.’
