Still no word on what went down in the operating room for Kate Middleton!
The Duchess underwent a mysterious “planned abdominal surgery” back in January, and ever since, royal fans have been chomping at the bit for details.
Easter وعد (Waad) – Promise, but No Answers
According to a new report in The Sunday Times, Kate might address the surgery in the future, but likely not until after Easter when she’s back to her royal duties. The extra-long recovery period has, of course, fueled tons of speculation, and that whole ~photoshopped Mother’s Day pic~ situation definitely didn’t help quell the rumors.
Keeping it Close to the Vest
While Kate did apologize for the editing snafu, there’s still been total radio silence on the surgery itself. Sources close to the couple told the Times that William and Kate are notoriously private people.
One source hinted that Kate might subtly address her recovery during future public engagements. “They are at their most open when out interacting with members of the public,” they said. “I can see a world in which the Princess might discuss her recovery out on engagements. If she was going to do it, that’s how she would do it.”
Will We Ever Know?
Another source acknowledged the public’s curiosity but said, “They’ll do it when they feel ready.”
Look, folks, it seems like we’ll just have to wait and see on this one. Here’s hoping Kate sheds some light on things soon, but until then, we’ll be keeping our ears to the ground (and our eyes peeled on future royal engagements)!
