Millie Bobby Brown brought the whole fam to the NYC premiere of her new movie “Damsel,” and by “fam,” we mean her fiancé Jake Bongiovi, his parents Jon Bon Jovi and Dorothea Hurley, and apparently, a donkey named… well, we don’t know the donkey’s name, but let’s move on.
Millie, radiating pure joy, spoke to about the importance of family and how much she cherishes having everyone’s support. “Family is everything,” she emphasized, “and I love Jake’s parents, I love his family. I am very lucky that they took time out to come and watch my movie.”
Date night with the fam? Not quite! Millie playfully shut down the question, but added, “It’s always date night [with Jake]. I feel this is very romantic in its own way. I’m very grateful.”
Speaking of romance, Millie also dished on her unique underwater engagement with Jake. While she admitted there’s a video (and how could there not be!), she confessed, “The video when we watch it back just cracks us up. My reaction is hilarious.” Whether they’ll share it with the world remains a mystery.
But here’s something we can all relate to: Millie’s secret to staying grounded? A farm in Georgia! “I just go back to my farm and I start feeding my donkey grain and I’m like, ‘Oh, yeah, this is real life,'” she shared. Sounds like the perfect antidote to the Hollywood hustle!
Oh, and about the wedding music? Millie revealed she and Jon Bon Jovi share a love for Ed Sheeran and Adele, so maybe a joint playlist is in the works. We can’t wait to see (and hear!) it all unfold!
