No Time to Die UK release date moved up to September

Having been pushed back for the umpteenth time last month, it seems that Universal and MGM are confident that the theatrical industry will be back up and running in time for No Time To Die’s latest release – so much so that the UK date has actually been brought forward. Yes, you read that correctly.

Originally scheduled for release in November 2019, Daniel Craig’s fifth and final outing as 007 found itself bouncing around the calendar the past year due to the coronavirus pandemic, and was shifted to its current October 8th date a few weeks ago.

However, Deadline has now confirmed with the studios that No Time to Die will continue the Bond tradition of opening earlier in the UK, where the film will begin its international roll out from September 30th – assuming of course that the road map out of lockdown succeeds as planned. Let’s keep our fingers crossed.
