  1. Why do people pretend that a government blockchain is any different than what we have now, just far more efficient? Do you like making a transaction and waiting days for it to be confirmed by multiple networks?

    Do you somehow think that when you push your money through banks, the government isn’t empowered to see it with a trivial request?

    One of the best usecases for blockchains is non-profit accounting. Instead of weeks of audits and proofs, just look at the blockchain of all of the corroborating addresses. Absolutely no different for banks+gov in the US.
