The issue I have with this stuff (at least when it comes to an NFT that represents a one-of-a-kind thing, like a tweet) is that it all seems very pointless unless someone, somewhere has a piece of paper saying “Author A is the copyright creator and bestows copyright of Item B to the bearer of NFT token C”. Because legally without something like that you have no legal recourse to defend your ownership of some copyrighted work.

    So – where is this happening?

    I appreciate there are other uses – like some NFT’s that show you’ve bought/own an album and then a website that allows you to download it. I get that.

  2. Bitski is charging 69$ a month + 99$ „collection fee“ + 10% commission…

    As a person selling my pictures privately via established stock agencies I find that quite greedy. Stock agencies charge a higher commission but nothing else.

    For me personally >800$ a year to be able to offer my content is too much (and seems quite greedy). But maybe I am just not the target group.
