  1. Even if POW is relatively outdated with the release and popularity of POS and DPOS systems, POW has its place.

    It is simple, predictable and a straightforward solution to the double-spend or Byzantine Generals problem. Institutions who look at crypto as a store-of-value and inflationary hedge like simplicity, predictability and security.

    There are already BTC forks, if the community really wanted POS then they could fork again. The new fork is unlikely to replace BTC, but it is always an option
