Q: How do I test taproot TXNs with Bitcoin Core v0.22 on testnet?

I know I can pay-to-taproot, but how do I set up a native TR wallet in Bitcoin Core? Are [descriptors](https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin/blob/v22.0/doc/descriptors.md) the correct and only way? What happens when my descriptors wallet runs out of addresses (1000 is default)?

Has anyone done this writeup yet?

It will be extended to go further, if possible (i.e. it’s either using public derivation, or the private key is known and unencrypted, or the encryption password was provided).
