Rick Ross is looking to add another big name to his Maybach Music Group roster: Kanye West.
On Thursday (October 19), the “Hustlin'” rapper took to social media to express his interest in signing West.
“I just had an amazing idea, a boss idea,” Ross said in a video posted to Instagram. “This is something that’s extremely realistic to me. We’ve created amazing masterpieces in the past.”

Ross and West have collaborated on several hit songs in the past, including “Monster,” “Devil in a New Dress,” and “Live Fast, Die Young.”
In a second video posted to HipHopDX, Ross elaborated on his plan to sign West.
“But like I’m saying, I’m a creative. I’m an artist,” Ross said. “Imagine if Ye came and allowed MMG to distribute his new project. Imagine that. What’s your favorite Rick Ross-Ye collab? Imagine that. Imagine the artistic drive.”
He added, “And I got some amazing ideas for the Yeezy brand. Let’s speak.”
It’s unclear if West is interested in signing with Maybach Music Group, but Ross is clearly serious about making it happen.
Could a Rick Ross-Kanye West collaboration be on the horizon? Stay tuned to find out.
