Scott knew that Ford was hesitant to return to the character, so he sent him the script and told him that he thought the role was perfect for him. He also promised Ford that he would have a lot of creative input into the character and the film.

Ford eventually agreed to do the film, and he ended up giving a critically acclaimed performance. Blade Runner 2049 was a commercial success, and it is now considered to be one of the best science fiction films of all time.

So, what did Ford think of the film? Well, he hasn’t said much about it publicly. But considering that he agreed to do a sequel to one of his most iconic roles, it’s safe to say that he was at least happy with the final product.

We’ll keep you posted if Ford says anything more about Blade Runner 2049 in the future. But in the meantime, we’re just grateful that he was convinced to reprise the role of Rick Deckard. It was a performance that we won’t soon forget.
