Ripple is enjoying increased adoption these days, and the trend seems to continue. Now, it’s been just revealed that the Australian payments company Novatti revealed that its partnership with DLT company Ripple is live.
Utoday also notes that the customers of Novatti will be able to send instant transactions to the Philippines.
The company is expecting to process a few thousand transfers each month. In order to provide payments to the Philippines, Novatti joined forces with remittance provider iRemit – this is among the first adopters of Ripple’s ODL solution.
The same online publication notes that the announcement says that this is only “the first manifestation” of the partnership that was initially announced in early December.
Novatti is currently thinking about further expansion in the Southeast Asia region:
“As shown through Ripple, this expansion opens Novatti up to new revenue opportunities and provides us with greater exposure to the global demand for digital payments that we expect to accelerate going forward,” according to official notes.

The online publication the Daily Hodl notes that Peter Brandt is turning bullish on XRP as the asset surges by 63% in one week.
This week, Brandt has seemingly changed his tune regarding the fate of XRP.
In a new tweet, he said that XRP is poised to break out against Bitcoin (XRP/BTC).
He also said something about the price of Bitcoin these days.
“I think we’re in that midpoint pause wherein 2017 Bitcoin swirled around for a month or two before we saw the final move up, and you’ll note that the midpoint in the 2015 to 2017 bull market was at about one-half of 60% of the total move,” he noted.
