  1. I think Switzerland will be a big player in adoption phase. Their world famous banks, ultra stable currency and “safe” investment reputation will give crypto significant attention if they adopt it. It would be similar to Norway being a world leader in green energy despite sitting on a lot of fossil resources.

  2. I’d love to know the fees / premiums involved, hopefully they are not too bad.

More adoption, it’s almost on a daily basis now!!!

  3. We have those prepaid cards too, but they are fee-margeddon.

I tested them when BTC was at 44k and the prepaid vendor offered it at 48k.

They also allowed for LTC and Dash payouts, which I took because of the lower fees. Ended up getting around 240 bucks worth of crypto for 300 in cash.

Imho, not worth it. Especially since you still have to register your phone-number, name and email to get your crypto, so it’s not even anonymous; just like you can’t use the prepaid-card for anything other than converting it to crypto on their website, so it’s entirely pointless as a payment-service.

What we would need would be a service, where you put your wallets QR-Code under a scanner, pay the cash amount and it gets transferred to your wallet instantly. That’s still a long way to go though… I hope that apple pay and crypto will push the industry towards adaptation. I do not particularly like apple, but they got some persuasion-skills no one can deny.
