The total market cap of all cryptos together is very close to reaching $2.5 trillion – just as this sub is reaching 2.5 million members!

According to [Coingecko](https://www.coingecko.com/en/global_charts) and [Subredditstats](https://subredditstats.com/r/cryptocurrency) we are really close to hitting both $2.5 trillion global marketcap and 2.5 million members. The growth in both cases is insane! I also think it’s really interesting how starting from 1.5, all the milestones are hit at really similar times!

|1 million|7. January 2021|20. April 2020|
|1.5 million|14. February 2021|4. February 2021|
|2 million|6. April 2021|30. March 2021|
|2.5 million|today?|today!|

What do you think, what will happen before – 3 million users or 3 trillion market cap? My money, unfortunately, is on the former πŸ˜‰

  1. Sooooo if my maths is correct, we just need:

2,500,000,000 (2.5 billion) members to reach a total market cap of 2,500,000,000,000,000 (2 quadrillion 500 trillion)?

  2. Sounds like a HUGE number. But considering the market cap of the U.S. stock market alone is over 49 trillion there is still a LOT of space for growth. 🀞🏼
