Tm Pool

Journalist and YouTuber Tim Pool, has said he believes that eventually, 1 Bitcoin will be equivalent to $1 million.

Tim Pool’s provocation on Bitcoin

Pool is an American journalist, well-known YouTuber with over a million subscribers, podcast host and political commentator. A former member of Vice Media, he was on Fusion TV in 2014 and is also known for his live coverage during the Occupy Wall Street protests of 2011.

Tim Pool’s provocation on Bitcoin

He had spoken about Bitcoin several times before, but these days he is talking about it more and more, so much so that after the new ATH he asked his followers on Twitter if they thought BTC could reach $200,000.

Pool often deals with current issues, and often goes out of his way to spark debate. The tweet in which he speculated that the million-dollar mark might be reached was also provocative, generating a cascade of comments.

As early as September 21, he had discussed cryptocurrencies on his YouTube channel together with Matt Palumbo, with a video entitled “Cryptocurrency Is A Positive Force As The Establishment LOSES CONTROL, But They’ll Try To Control It”.

He had previously talked about Bitcoin as part of another Timcast IRL video titled “Tim Gets ANIMATED About Bitcoin, Insists It’s Good For MANY Things And Allows Greater Freedom”.

Barry Silbert: it’s time to think in Bitcoin

Barry Silbert, founder and CEO of Grayscale‘s parent company, takes a different approach.

Silbert invites people to start thinking not in dollars, or in Bitcoin, but in Satoshi, the smallest unit of BTC.

Today, a Sat has a value of less than a thousandth of a dollar (about $0.0006), but since a BTC has a value of more than $60,000, it is certainly easier to think in Sats rather than BTC. After all, one KiloSat, equivalent to one thousand Satoshi, is worth just under $1, or about $0.63.

Silbert encourages exchanges to list Satoshi exchange pairs in fiat currencies, such as SAT/USD, instead of BTC, making it easier for beginners to get started in this world.

It is worth noting that some exchanges have already added a display mode in SAT instead of BTC to make it easier to trade with smaller amounts.
