Tom Brady might be the GOAT on the football field, but navigating fatherhood can be a whole other game! According to reports, the NFL legend was super hesitant to call it quits with Gisele Bündchen because of past co-parenting struggles.
Fumbled Feelings?
Sources close to the former couple revealed that Brady wasn’t exactly thrilled about the divorce. Apparently, the thought of facing another challenging co-parenting situation gave him flashbacks. “Tom would agree that co-parenting hasn’t been easy,” an insider dished to the Daily Mail. Remember, Brady also shares a son with his ex Bridget Moynahan, and that co-parenting journey wasn’t exactly a walk in the park.
The Brady Bunch (Not Quite So Bunch-y Anymore)
The source continued, emphasizing that Brady “never wanted to divorce” especially after the difficulties with Bridget. “It is safe to say that Tom and Gisele never expected to break up,” they added.
Finding Their Rhythm (Eventually)
Despite the initial hesitation, there seems to be a glimmer of hope! The insider says both Tom and Gisele, while definitely not getting back together, are committed to finding a way to co-parent effectively. “They both agree that the benefit of their kids is what matters,” the source revealed.
Gisele Gets Real About the Grind
While they figure things out, Gisele recently opened up about the emotional toll of the divorce. She described it to Robin Roberts as “the death of a dream,” and admitted there are “easier days than others” when it comes to co-parenting their two children, Benjamin and Vivian.
Single Mom Strength
In a separate interview, Gisele spoke to the challenges of being a single mom. She acknowledged the differences in her parenting style compared to Brady’s, which can lead to some tension with the kids. “Sometimes, I get pushback,” she admitted to Harper’s Bazaar. But this supermodel mama ain’t fazed! She remains dedicated to her own parenting philosophy, inspired by her own mom.
Gisele’s Got This!
Through it all, Gisele maintains a strong stance. When it comes to public scrutiny, she says, “I can’t worry about what other people say about me because what they say about me is none of my business.” You go, Gisele!
