Toni Braxton turned 56 on Saturday, and she celebrated in style by posting a tastefully sexy photo of herself in nothing but a loosely draped robe. The black cover-up falls behind her while exposing her back, and the singer uses a bit of its fabric to also help cover her chest.
“In my birthday suit…,” she captioned the upload.
Braxton’s fans and family immediately flooded her social media with praise and birthday wishes.
“Well dag-gone Toni Braxton!,” wrote her sister Towanda, followed by an eye-heart emoji.

Their mother, Evelyn Braxton, also chimed in, writing, “Go girl ❤️. Look at God❤️?”
Braxton has a lot to celebrate this year, as her Braxtoni Productions inked an all-encompassing deal with Lifetime and A&E in April.
“Lifetime has been home to my film and TV projects for the past decade,” said the singer in a statement at the time. “My team and I are looking forward to continued success with the network as we bring projects to life for the audience that has so graciously welcome us into their homes over the years.”
Braxton served as executive producer for Lifetime film A Christmas Spark and starred/executive produced two other features under their Fallen Angels Murder Club banner in 2022. She also executive produced her own Lifetime biopic, Toni Braxton: Unbreak My Heart (2016), starring Lex Scott Davis.
