Tory Lanez’s Bond Request Denied: Rapper Still Behind Bars

Tory Lanez is still behind bars after a judge denied his request for bond on Friday. The rapper is currently appealing his conviction for shooting Megan Thee Stallion in 2020, but the court ruled that he is a danger to the community and should remain in custody.

Lanez has been doing everything he can to get out of prison, but nothing has worked so far. He was sentenced to 10 years in prison in August, and his first bail request was denied in September. He was then transferred to North Kern State Prison in Delano, California, where he is currently serving his sentence.

In a recent message to his fans, Lanez said that he is in good spirits despite his situation. He said that he is happy to be out of the county jail, but he is still hopeful that he will be released soon.

“I’m talking to you live from prison right now,” Lanez said in the message. “Man, I’m just happy to get out that bullshit county jail. They was hating on a young fly n***a, you heard? Had me on 24-hour lockdown, half-sized cell by myself. No windows, no mirrors. N***a ain’t even seen himself in a whole year. But with all them disadvantages against me, my head is always been held high, man.

It’s unclear when Lanez’s appeal will be heard, but it could take months or even years. In the meantime, the rapper will remain in prison, where he will continue to work on his music and try to stay positive.
