The untimely passing of Jacky Oh, the beloved late model, actress, and entrepreneur known for her vibrant presence on the comedy show “Wild ‘N Out,” has left a void in the hearts of many. An autopsy report, now obtained by Nexstar, sheds light on the circumstances surrounding her tragic demise.
Under her birth name, Jacklyn Smith, Oh left us on the fateful night of May 31, sending shockwaves through her dedicated fan base. According to the report from the Miami-Dade Medical Examiner’s office, Oh had traveled from Georgia to Florida with the intention of undergoing a gluteal augmentation procedure in Miami on May 30. Following the surgery, she was prescribed three medications for her recovery journey.
However, on May 31, after experiencing a severe headache, Oh decided to discontinue one of the prescribed medications, ondansetron, an anti-nausea drug, and opted for ibuprofen instead. Sadly, this choice would later have devastating consequences.
The report details that Oh began experiencing a burning sensation in her head and struggled with speech. Her concerned aunt, who had accompanied her on this journey, promptly called for emergency assistance. Regrettably, by the time the first responders arrived, Oh had become unresponsive. Tragically, she was pronounced deceased at HCA Florida Mercy Hospital at 11 p.m. on that fateful night.
The autopsy has concluded that Oh’s passing was accidental, and as a result, no criminal investigation will be pursued, as confirmed by the Miami-Dade Police Department.
At 33 years old, Oh leaves behind three children, sharing this precious chapter of her life with her partner, DC Young Fly, a fellow cast member on the VH1 series.
