  1. Guys you don’t realise the benefit here if you think it’s bad to spend your btc.

Spending btc is good if you can put it into the context of not reducing your btc position, but by reducing your fiat position.

If you can put yourself in a situation in which you no longer need to hold fiat, you’re exposed obviously to the volatility of bitcoin, but also you’re 100% exposed to the upside too.

If you can pay your bills in bitcoin, use lightening to shop at vendors who accept it, you put yourself in a position where all your cash is appreciating at an average rate of 150% per annum.

Now if the volatility will burn you then you need to have a fiat buffer, but in the circumstance your bitcoin+cash position is enough to see you through big swings you can absolutely see that this is the optimal play.

  2. tldr; Bitrefill has launched its new Bill Payments service in the US, allowing users to pay their credit card bills, utilities, healthcare, mortgage payments and 20,000 other types of bills with bitcoin. Bitrefill will charge a 2% convenience fee on the total bill paid to cover the cost of paying and processing each bill payment as those are not discounted by the provider or payee.
