  1. Recently, members of the r/WallStreetBets subreddit were targeted by a Telegram-based initial coin offering scam. The scammers took $2.1 million dollars worth of Binance Coin (BNB) and never delivered the WSB Finance tokens that they offered

  2. It was an obvious scam , if you lost money to this it is something that had to be learned. Also wallstreetbets itself had threads about this crypto telegram group being fake and there have been other reports about the „scam group“ before this happened. Still I am sorry for anyone that fell for this, hope the scammers can be caught and go to jail.

  3. I am sorry for everyone who lost money to the scammers. I don’t understand why most people here seem to be happy about it. Scams like that are really bad for blockchain adoption.

  4. 😂😂 i want to say good lol shit like this is obvious to spot out but at the same time it just brings a bad name to the space sooo not good at the same time

  5. I hate to be a dick, but honestly how stupid can you be, on Reddit everyone’s Accounts tells you the age of their profile. Any profile less than a few days old, don’t trust 😂

  6. I may sound like some crazy conspiracy guy, but is there a possibility some of this big scams or even one in the future could be the dealings of the powers who have an interest in regulating the crypto market or use it as a vehicle to stifle it in some way?
