  1. I would put it on a tattoo like in the show prison break…where it’s hidden in the tattoo but only you know where to look because you designed it…Michael Scofield was the character name

  2. Just a thought but consider switching out the first or last one or two words with fake ones from the BIP word list. you can store those 2 words anywhere even your email and its no harm but this way if someone finds it they can’t take your funds.

  3. Personal safe at home.

For further security, setup a second hidden account on your hardware wallet with a pass phrase. That way if your “main” account is compromised, you will have your second account funds available with nobody knowing. This allows you to keep seed phrase at multiple locations without worrying about it being compromised. Just keep the pass phrase hidden!

  4. Be aware that floods, fires, tornadoes, and other calamities can happen to your home and even a bank. For example, thousands of homes and businesses went completely underwater along the Gulf coast when Hurricane Harvey hit in 2017.

No place is completely safe. It is a question of relative safety. Plan accordingly.

  5. If you want to up your security, check out [The Tordl Wallet Protocols](https://github.com/fresheneesz/TordlWalletProtocols), which are guides on how to properly create and use a Bitcoin wallet. It does go over storage locations. Primarily home safes and safe deposit boxes – somewhere with solid locked security. Multisig is best because you can diversify your methods of storage and don’t have any single point of failure
