Kodak Black Busted Again in South Florida for Cocaine and More

Kodak Black just can’t seem to stay out of trouble. The rapper, whose real name is Bill Kapri, was arrested in Plantation, Florida on Thursday, December 7th, according to NBC Miami. This time, he’s facing charges of cocaine possession, tampering with evidence, and improperly parking his car.

Kodak Black Arrested In Florida For Cocaine Possession And Other Charges

This isn’t Kodak’s first rodeo with the law. In July 2022, he was pulled over in Fort Lauderdale with expired tags. Not only did he not have a valid license plate, but the cops also found 31 oxycodone pills and a hefty $74,960 in cash in his car.

Earlier this year, Kodak failed a random drug test and a warrant was issued for his arrest. He eventually took another test, but traces of fentanyl were found, leading to the revocation of his release. Thankfully, a Broward judge allowed him to attend a 30-day drug treatment program.

Kodak’s recent appearance on “Drink Champs” sparked concerns about his well-being. The October 28th episode showed him in a questionable state, prompting even celebrities like Ray J to speak out. Ray J urged someone to help Kodak and expressed his disappointment in the rapper’s lack of guidance and respect during his meeting with Donald Trump.

Kodak’s lawyer, Bradford Cohen, wasn’t happy with all the “fake concern” expressed for his client on social media. He pointed out all the positive things Kodak has been doing since his pardon, including launching clothing lines, collaborating with other artists, and anonymously donating to charities. He also highlighted Kodak’s scholarship awards and other good deeds.

It seems like Kodak needs to get his act together before he faces more legal troubles and potentially throws away all the progress he’s made. Whether he listens to his lawyer’s advice or heeds the concerns of others, only time will tell.
